Power surges, high voltage spikes and switching transients can damage or destroy your electronic equipment. Although power problems caused by lightning strikes or power company switching, originate outside your facility, most voltage transients originate from the inside. Air Conditioning equipment, elevator motors, or any inductive load regardless of size, can cause Voltage Transients.

POWER MONITORING

We Offer 3 & 30 day Recordings of Panels, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Etc. as are required by California's Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, when additional loads are to be added to existing electrical distribution systems.

Hams Electric can monitor multiple loads simultaneously, saving time when gathering required data for OSHPD approval, and recording parameters can be adjusted to each customer’s specifications.

POWER QUALITY ANALYSIS

A Power Quality survey is used to show the presence and extent of power system disturbances in electrical distribution systems. This information can be used to help troubleshoot the following:

» Interference with Data Communications
» Excessive noise and vibration of Transformers and Switchgear
» Overloading/Overheating of Conductors
